Uula Oil acid

Uula Olielazuur Outdoor stain, wood structure remains visible, semi-gloss

Oil acid can be used inside and outside. It protects the wood from moisture and dirt, but leaves the wood structure visible. Oil acid is made from boiled linseed oil and natural resins. The color is obtained with pigments as earth dyes such as ocher and titanium white. Oil acid contains a low-aromatic solvent (max 300g / L). dilution and cleaning tools: gumpling.

Applications
Oleic acid is suitable for new untreated wood and wood that has previously been treated with transparent or opaque linseed oil, alkyd paint or stain.

Inside: application on ceilings, doors, floors, window frames, windows and furniture.
Outside: application on red cedar or preserved wood facades.

Instructions
Clean the surface to be painted and free of grease. From bare wood first remove grease, dirt and dust with a cleaning agent. If there are old loose stains, remove them by scratching, sanding or brushing. If there is mold or fouling on the wood, remove it with Auro Mold remover. Then use Uula Houtgronde to prevent new mold. Allow the surface to dry well. When the woodwork is dry, stir the stain well and apply with a long-haired brush or roller.

White oil acid
White oil acid can only be used for indoor wood. Two or three layers are required. After the first coat light sanding to remove the refurbished wood fiber and thoroughly dusting. Between the second and third layer sanding is almost unnecessary.

Colored oil acid
Set up a test surface to assess the color. Then apply one or two layers until the desired color and degree of transparency is achieved. Apply a third (possibly clear) coat for extra durability.

Drying time
Dust dry after 5 - 8 hours. Apply a new layer after at least 24 hours.

Efficiency
Planed timber: approx. 12-15 m² / liter.
Raw wood: approx. 8-10 m² / liter.

Packaging
Uula Olielazuur Blank is supplied in cans of 0.9, 2.7 or 9 liters.
By adding colors Uula Olielazuur Color contains about 1, 3 or 10 liters.
