Shake well before use, pour a small amount onto the floor, and then spread evenly in strips or sections. Work wet-on-wet and ensure that no drying edges form. Be careful not to apply a thick layer. After two to three maintenance treatments, it is necessary to first remove old polish layers with SKYLT Intensive Cleaner #9150 before applying a new layer.

For the best results, your floor must be clean. Empty the room, vacuum thoroughly, and first mop with SKYLT's intensive cleaner. Always rinse with clean water afterwards. Allow the surface to dry completely. If the lacquer layer still feels soft or sticky after cleaning, wait at least eight hours before applying the polish. Has the floor recently been lacquered with SKYLT lacquer? Then wait at least 16 to 24 hours before using the polish. You must also wait until the first layer is completely dry between two polish coats. The drying time is around 1 to 2 hours at normal room temperature (20°C) and a relative humidity of 65 percent. Always ensure adequate ventilation in the room.

After drying, the floor is immediately walkable again. You can use SKYLT Polish #9145 directly. The polish is resistant to water, soap, and mild cleaning agents, such as SKYLT Conditioner #9140. The pH value of the polish is 8, making it gentle on your floor. Store the bottle in a cool, dry, and frost-free place. In a well-sealed container, the product has a shelf life of at least 12 months. It has a slightly shorter shelf life after opening, so always close the bottle tightly.

Are you using this polish on a moderately or medium-heavy floor, such as a living room, hallway, or office? Then one maintenance treatment per year is often sufficient. However, ensure that you clean regularly with SKYLT Conditioner and clean intensively with the right products so that dirt does not build up. Do not use this polish on heavily used floors, such as in shops, restaurants, or schools – in those cases, you would rather choose a different maintenance strategy with multiple coats of lacquer.

Finally, a word about waste disposal. Wet product or packaging with residue? These must go to chemical waste. Once the polish is completely dry, you may dispose of it as general waste. Used rollers or squeegees that have dried out can also simply go with the general waste. This way, you work safely and in an environmentally conscious manner.
