Additional Information Osmo Hardwax Oil Silk Matt 3032,

Clear oils can darken the wood's appearance. Use Osmo 3044 Raw or 3041 Natural to preserve the light character of oak.
Some woods are very porous and require a particularly thin application, which can extend the drying time.
Ventilate well during drying. The surface will be fully cured after 2-3 weeks.
Applying the clear Osmo Hardwax Oil Original topcoat can be done after the first coat has dried. However, if the first coat was a colored Osmo finish (e.g., Hardwax Oil in color Farbig or Decorwas transparent ), wait approximately 24 hours before applying Osmo Hardwax Oil Original as a topcoat.
For the top coating of Osmo white colours, use white-tinted Hardwax oils (e.g. 3040 or 3240) to prevent yellowing.
Recommended application is 35ml/m²
For exotic hardwoods use Osmo Blanke wax 1101,
A base coat of Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is recommended for use in bathrooms or kitchens.
All-purpose cleaners such as dishwashing liquids and detergents are very harmful to the finished surface and are not recommended as they may cause discolouration or staining.
Other household cleaners such as chlorine, bleach, baking soda, etc. are likely to cause severe discoloration or staining.
Be careful when applying Osmo Hardwax Oil 3062 Matte to a dark-colored surface. The matting agents in 3062 may produce a white haze or powdery effect on the surface. It is recommended to apply 3065 Semi-Matte if gloss is not desired. Always test the surface first with any application.

Instructions for use Osmo Hardwax Oil Silk Matt 3032,

The wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 18%).
Osmo Hardwax Oil Original is ready to use. Do not dilute. Stir well before use with a flat stirring rod, stirring stick, or spatula.

Thoroughly clean old, microporous stains. Old paints and varnishes must be completely removed. In general, wear a dust mask when sanding. Fill small cracks, larger joints, or holes in the wood (with Osmo Wood Filler).
Gently sand wooden surfaces. Start with coarse sandpaper – final sanding for floors with P120-150 grit, for furniture with P180 grit. Before oiling the surface, remove the sanding dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner.
The finished surface is influenced by several factors, including the condition of the wood. Therefore, a trial application is always necessary, especially for unfamiliar surfaces.

Apply thinly along the wood grain using the special paint roller or brushes below, ensuring even distribution. Leave for approximately 8-10 hours under good ventilation.
After drying, quickly apply a second, thin coat. The surface will be fully cured after 2-3 weeks.
When renovating or repainting an already oiled surface, one coat on a clean, dry surface is usually sufficient.

Maintain and clean, always follow the special maintenance plan all year round; this is more than enough to keep your floor or furniture in good condition.
