A transparent, semi-gloss finish that combines all the benefits of oils and waxes in a unique product. Osmo Hardwax-Oil Colour is water- and dirt-resistant, durable, and provides a grippy surface.
Compared to conventional finishes, the natural plant oils and waxes ensure a consistent color and a smooth, even surface. Easy application—without priming or intermediate sanding—saves time and money. The open-pore structure prevents the finish from cracking, peeling, or flaking. Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water.

The dried finish is harmless to humans, animals and plants (saliva and sweat resistant lt. DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys lt. NL 71.3).

Osmo Hardwax Oils are formulated with natural oils and waxes to provide the most durable and long-lasting protection for wooden floors and furniture.

All the familiar properties of the original Hardwax Oil (Farbig) Tints are water-repellent, dirt-repellent, and durable. The surface feels pleasant to the touch, has a uniform and harmonious appearance, and is based on natural, renewable, plant-based raw materials.

• Transparent silk matt, for indoor use
• Specially recommended for wood and cork floors; also suitable for furniture and laminated surfaces.
• Osmo Hardwax Oil in color is dirt and water-repellent, durable, and provides a pleasant surface. A uniform color is achieved through the use of plant-based ingredients.
• Number of coats: Apply a thin layer of colored paint in the direction of the wood grain, spreading it evenly. For untreated wood, apply a maximum of two coats.
• After drying, apply a top coat with a colourless Osmo Hardwax Oil 3032 or 3062 (always 2 to 3 coats on the 3041)
• Osmo Hardwax Oil in colour FARBIG is available in 0.125 / 0.75 / 2.5 and 25 litres
• 1 litre is sufficient for approximately 25/30 m2 with 1 layer

• Always finish with one coat of transparent hardwax oil 3032 or 3062 (or even two coats for pine, spruce, etc.).

Preparation,

The wooden surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (max. 18% moisture content).
Osmo Hardwax-Oil Colour is ready to use; do not dilute. Stir well.
Thoroughly clean old, open-pored finishes. Old paint and lacquer layers must be removed. Always wear a dust mask when sanding.
Fill small cracks, larger seams or holes in the wood (Osmo Wood Paste).
Carefully sand the wooden surface, starting with coarse sandpaper - final sanding for floors P120-150, for furniture P180-240.
Before oiling the surface, remove sanding dust by sweeping and vacuuming.
The end result depends on the wood structure, among other things, so it is recommended to make a test piece.

Instructions for use Osmo Hardwaxolie Farbig,

Open the can and stir well with a stirring stick or otherwise,
For transparent colours: Apply evenly and thinly with the special paint rollers and/or brushes below, position the floor brush in the direction of the wood grain and spread thoroughly.
Allow to dry for 24 hours with good ventilation.
For an intense colour, repeat the process a maximum of 2 times.
For a light-colored stain effect: Wipe in the direction of the wood grain with the cotton cloths below within 20 minutes of application.
Allow to dry for 24 hours with good ventilation.

For intensive colour: Use Osmo Decor Wax Important: Treat floors a maximum of 1x with Hardwax-Oil
Apply color-rich treatment. After drying, apply a topcoat of colorless Osmo Hardwax Oil.

CLEANING THE TOOLS
With Osmo Brush Cleaner (aromatics free).

DRYING TIME: Approx. 24 hours (normal conditions, 23°C/50%, normal humidity). Lower temperatures and/or high humidity may affect drying time.
Allow to dry under good ventilation. The surface will be fully cured after about 2-3 weeks.
