Descaling : Descaling the humidifier is an easy job that you should do every 1-2 months.
Fill the H400's tank with water. Add some descaler to the bottom tank.
Let the machine run for half an hour.
Discard the water from the bottom tank and refill the tank with clean water if necessary.
Add a small amount of detergent (for white laundry) to the bottom tank and let the machine run for half an hour
Turn. The mat is now clean. Rinse the bottom tank and the mat under the tap or in the shower.
Refill the tank with clean water and the humidifier can now easily run for another 1-2 months before needing another descaling session.
