Water-based 2-component polyurethane renovation paint with high adhesive strength.
Highly suitable for renovating varnished floors and surfaces that cannot, or can no longer, be sanded bare. For example, veneered parquet and existing finishes where adhesion cannot be achieved with other products, such as factory-varnished wooden floors. Also suitable for laminate, PVC, and vinyl.
The renovation varnish conceals surface wear, restores dull floors and makes surfaces suitable for intensive use.
Not suitable for parquet floors treated with wax, linseed oil and linoleum floors.
After finishing with STEP Renovation Paint, do not apply any other types of paint or polish.

Check the paint and drying conditions well before you begin painting. This gives you time and opportunity to take action. Reduce incoming sunlight if necessary. Ensure adequate ventilation during drying.
Bring the product to room temperature in good time before use.
Register the batch numbers of the products used (6-digit number on the packaging).
Always make a test area first on unknown surfaces.
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of wax, grease, and dust. Check the adhesion beforehand.

Apply only to existing finishing layers.
First, clean the surface with STEP Intensive Cleaner #9200 and sand it with 120/150 grit sandpaper. Select the grit size and sanding method so that the existing finish is not completely sanded through.
After polishing, carefully remove any dust and immediately apply the first coat.
Before applying a second coat, sand the surface with P120.
Apply a second coat within 48 hours.

Shake the A-component briefly and vigorously. Add the B-component and shake vigorously again for about 1 minute. Pour the paint through a sieve into a paint tray. Spread the paint evenly in strips or sections. It's important to apply the paint thoroughly; this ensures better wetting and flow. Roll overlaps thoroughly, wet-on-wet. Avoid variations in layer thickness.
Use a microfiber paint roller with a 9-11 mm thick pad, and for edges or small parts, a full, long-haired brush. Use only stainless steel or plastic tools.
Avoid mixing with other types of paint. Therefore, do not use rollers or brushes that have previously been used with another type of paint.

Clean with STEP Mild Cleaner and/or inovnet weekly or as often as you like.
