The Oskar-Big operates on the principle of cold water evaporation. Humidification filters release the water into the air, humidifying the air in this way. As a result, the humidity automatically rises to the set value. The mist is so fine that no condensation occurs. The principle of cold evaporation prevents limescale and minerals from being dispersed into the air.

Controlled by its integrated hygrostat, Oskar-Big maintains humidity levels.
