Osmo Primer 7000 White,
Osmo Primer 7000 is suitable for any exterior wood that requires a white finish prior to installation. Ideal for wooden cladding, wooden trusses and purlins, eaves, facades, balconies, fencing, pergolas, garden sheds, carports and other dimensionally stable and unstable elements.
Osmo Primer is ideal for the first coat before mounting, e.g. directly in the workshop.
The Primer is designed for professional and particularly fast operation. It is very drip -resistant and extremely quick-drying.
For high-quality long-lasting protection, a white or lighter finish with new Osmo Opaque Stain or Osmo Country House Paint
Advantages,
- Highly water and dirt repellent
- Very drip resistant
- Long-lasting protection
- Breathable, so less water accumulation, swelling and shrinkage
- Microporous, penetrating finish that won't crack, peel or flake
- Can be used with white or light colored topcoats
Surface preparation,
The wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (outside temperature min. +5 C, moisture content max. 18%). Osmo Primer is ready to use. Stir well. Thoroughly clean old microporous stains. Old paints, varnishes and lacquers must be completely removed. Always wear a dust mask when sanding. If extra protection against blue mold, rot and insects is desired, pre-treat the wood on all sides if possible with Osmo WR 4001 Wood Impregnation.
The finished surface is affected by several factors, including the condition of the wood. A test is therefore always necessary, especially with new surfaces.
note,
Osmo Landhuisverf or Osmo Opaque stain in white or light colors is recommended for the top coat. Note: When using products other than those recommended, it is imperative to use only high quality wood finishes for their intended use. In such cases, a test treatment is always necessary (for processing, drying, adhesion). Many woods contain water-soluble colored extractives that can leach naturally when weathered. The oils and resins in exotic woods and certain hardwoods (Oak, Pine, Larch, etc.) must weather before application. This makes the wood absorbent and the wood finish adheres optimally.
apply,
With the Flat Brush or lacquer roller below, apply the dry wood thinly along the grain - if possible on all sides - and distribute evenly.
