Instructions for use Loba Intensive Color,
Stir the a-component, add the hardener in a 5:1 ratio, and mix everything mechanically with a LOBA paint mixer. If smaller quantities need to be mixed, use the LOBA mixing cup or weigh the mixture. After mixing, it can be processed for 2 hours.
• In weather conditions on the construction site with 50% relative humidity or more, it is important to provide air circulation with fans.
• The surface must be properly sanded. The floor must be dry and free of any old layers, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust, and other contaminants.
• The optimum processing conditions are a room temperature of +15°C to + 25°C, a floor temperature of +15°C to +22°C, a relative humidity of 40% - 65%, a material temperature of +18°C - + 25°C, a maximum wood moisture content of 12%, and adequate ventilation of work areas.
• To prevent damage to the parquet, the expected annual average room climate for use must be observed during processing.
• Do not pour material on the floor, use a LOBA paint bucket
• Stir material well.
• The original color of the wood used, its structure and absorbency, as well as the fineness of the sanding pattern, have a strong influence on the resulting color. We strongly recommend creating color samples on the original wood using the final sanding method for your own testing and, if necessary, for approval by the client.
• Observe the LOBA "Sanding tips for pre-colouring parquet floors".
Before using the Color variant, we recommend creating a test piece to assess whether the desired color can be achieved through optical interaction. The colors are intermixable. The transparent variant can be mixed in to increase transparency and reduce opacity. For a consistent color appearance, saturating the pigments is essential; therefore, the color can be diluted with a maximum of three parts transparent to one part color.
• If more than one container is used for a large surface, the total quantity should be mixed together at once.
• Observe general and product-specific protective measures.
- The product is ready to use and must not be diluted!
