This self-adhesive rubber anti-slip strip is ideal for making slippery stairs safe. Thanks to the double-sided tape on the underside, the strip is very easy to apply to the stair tread. How do you apply the anti-slip strip?

1. The stair treads must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Ensure that the paint has cured if the stairs have been painted.
2. Determine how wide the anti-slip strips need to be. You do this by measuring the width of the stair tread. Then cut enough strips to cover all the treads.
3. Work from top to bottom. This prevents the newly applied anti-slip strip on the step in front from coming loose.
4. Determine the position of the anti-slip strips before sticking them down. If you pull the strip off and stick it back on, it may not adhere properly to the step.
5. Apply firm but even pressure to the anti-slip strips after they have been attached to the steps.
6. The stairs do not need to be spared after the strips have been applied. The tape adheres immediately after application.
