Alkreflex Super Insulation Roll (6500mu and 1.3 KW!)
ALKREFLEX 2L-2 insulation material, 30 m² (roll of 25x1.2m). 80% of the heat leaves a non-insulated home in the form of radiation. This radiant heat cannot be stopped by brick, window glass, or other traditional materials, but is absorbed by them. The development of an insulation material that reflects this radiant heat is a logical solution. Aluminium possesses this property. Ideal as cavity wall insulation where the cavity function is preserved, or on the inside of roof sheathing (2cm air gap).
Please note: it is possible to use this as a subfloor, but ensure that you level it properly. Due to the thickness (8 to 9 mm) and soft-springy, it is best to use this as a base material and cover it with, for example , Redupax, chipboard, etc. , creating a more solid subfloor.
