One-component, water-based, solvent-free joint sealant. For filling nail holes and small joints in parquet and interior paneling that will be finished transparently or semi-transparently. Combine with fine sanding dust to create a joint compound of the desired consistency. Universally suitable for virtually all wood types and compatible with all ROYL, STEP, and SKYLT finishes.
FYKS Joint Sealant #0420 offers smooth application and adheres well to your trowel or putty knife. It bonds well and shrinks minimally. It's invisible after sanding and blends well with oil and lacquer.

This is how you use it,

• Prepare: Sand the wooden surface and remove the dust.
• Mixing: Mix the FYKS Joint Sealant with fine sanding dust from the surface to be treated to form a smooth paste.
• Application: Apply the paste quickly and evenly with a stainless steel trowel or putty knife, pressing it well into the joints and holes.
• Drying: Allow the filler to dry. (2–3 hours)
• Finish: Lightly sand, dust and apply the desired finish with SKYLT, ROYL or STEP.

Processing time (minutes): Use immediately after mixing with wood dust. If the paste becomes too dry during processing, add more wood dust and sealant, mix again, and continue. Do not store mixed material for more than 2 hours. Do not use afterward.
Drying time After 2-3 hours, at 20°C and 65% RH
Dust dry after evaporation of the water. For chipboard work this is approximately 20 minutes.
